As soon as I saw the cover reveal for this, it went on my 'to be read' list!
Being the royal fan I am, plus my love of historical fiction, how could I not fall in love with this series? And I was not disappointed. If you enjoy historical sagas set in real places that you will know and recognise, this is the perfect winter read.
I fell in love with so many of the characters, especially Milly's (the heroine) aunt Edie - just loved her! Set in 1951, this story takes us on a journey through the characters who make up a small proportion of the downstairs staff at Buckingham Palace (including a few appearances by the royals themselves). Full of drama, suspense and romance, this is wonderful saga and I'm very much looking forward to book two in the series...
