Back in 2019, I decided it was time that I started paying it forward - helping aspiring romance and/or women's fiction authors who were serious about getting published secure an agent or their first publishing contract.

There is absolutely no possibility that I would have 28 published books under my belt without the help and support of all the amazing published authors who have advised and cheered me on along the way. I have worked with critique partners (one of which I still do!) ever since my second book was published back in 2008. In my opinion a critique partner is vital for any writer whether starting out or established.

Yet, there is always room for an extra pair of eyes to look over your work, especially if those eyes belong to a multi-published, bestselling author like me, haha! The success of my First Chapter Critique service has been overwhelming at times and whenever one of my authors emails me to tell me that they have signed with an agent or received their first contract offer, I literally tear up (seriously!). What can be more satisfying than knowing that something I helped or advised might have been that tweak that opened the door for someone else?
