It's been a LONG time since I've read a contemporary Harlequin Mills & Boon novel but I've decided to start adding some contemporary romance posts to my pages :)
So what better place to start than with a fresh take on the Beauty & The Beast story??
I really enjoyed this story and finished the book in just a few days - Catherine & Alaric have known each other for years and the spark has always been there between them but at first they were too young and then Catherine went off to Hollywood and then Alaric was involved in a car accident that changed him physically, emotionally and psychologically.
But when Catherine suffers a painful episode in her own life and wants to get away from her A-list lifestyle for a while, Alaric's sister (and Catherine's best friend) suggests she visits Alaric where he has been hiding away at his island, refusing to see anyone. Maybe Catherine is the last hope of convincing him to start living fully again?
Beauty & The Reclusive Millionaire is touching, romantic, funny and sexy. All in all a wonderful read! This is the first book I've read by Rachael Stewart but it won't be the last...
