Oh, my goodness!! I cannot tell you how excited I am to introduce you to Louisa Hill and the ladies of Carson Street! After writing the four books (so far!) in the Pennington's series, I had a trilogy idea that became more and more demanding in its request to be written - for a long time I've wanted to write about 19th century women who find themselves embroiled in the world of prositution as so many did. Having read The Five by Harlie Rubenhold (highly recommended!), my idea could wait no longer. Women from every imaginable circumstance and background succumbed to a life that they never could have imagined for themselves. Often through desperation and survival. These women were strong, caring, sometimes mothers, sometimes not. They each had individual stories that, for me, provoked absolute sympathy and empathy.
