My January review is for the fabulous Trickster by Sam Michaels (book 1 in her Georgina Garrett series)!
I have always been a fan of the crime novels dealing with women trying to make their mark in a male-dominated underworld and Trickster did not disappoint.
We meet Georgina Garrett as she is born into a less than ideal world - although her family are struggling financially and involved in petty crime, Georgina is surrounded by love. Despite this, her life starts with sad beginnings and she goes through adolescence facing one challenge after another - especially whenever faced with her nemesis...
Trickster is bursting with tension and drama, touching and disturbing moments - a real rollercoaster of a read that I absolutely loved and have already bought book 2.
Highly recommended!!
