1.)
Do you use pictures as inspiration at the start
of a book?
Most definitely. I like visuals, so to be able to ‘see’ my characters allows me to get the details right so readers can ‘see’ them too.
2.)
What is your favourite period drama?
The first movie that comes to mind is Tombstone. It’s one of my favourite movies, taking place in the 1880’s in Tombstone, Arizona with several western outlaws and lawmen such as Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday “I’m your Huckleberry.”
3.)
Are the titles of your books important?
Very important. Titles must reflect the story in some way. A cover will draw a reader in, and the title will hopefully hook them.
4.)
If you’re struggling with a scene or difficult
character, what methods help you through it?
I take a break. This break may be an hour or the next day. Once I step away, I can work out the scene with a better perspective than trying to push the words.
5.)
Are you an early bird or a night owl?
I like to enjoy as much of the day as possible, so for me sleeping in is a big no. And because I’m up early, I don’t have the energy to stay up late, lol.
6.)
Who’s your favourite author? Why?
I don’t have a particular favourite author. I enjoy reading the works of many authors, but my bookshelf holds more Penny Jordan books than any other.
7.)
Do you have a pet peeve?
I have a lot, lol.
8.)
Can you tell me a little about your next
project?
I am currently working on the seventh book in my Redford Falls series. This book will be an individual title but part of a series with six other authors where we have a common object in each book.

Sharing a confined-spaced cabin sparks an immediate attraction, and by the end of the trip, she longs to be a part of their family. Only as she opens her heart to love, do the scars from her past begin to heal.
With more in common than relatives in Redford Falls, is their love strong enough to overcome the truth behind the accident…and save their future?
Excerpt:
Avery pointed to herself, Ethan, and then
Jenn.
Ethan rested his forehead against his
daughter’s. “You want Jenn to come, too?”
Avery nodded.
The little voice in Jenn’s head told her
to return to her cabin and to stay clear of Ethan and his daughter. They were
as enticing as strawberry ice cream. “I would love to join you.” The words fell
from her lips.
Ethan stood and set Avery on her feet.
The child held onto her father’s hand and
reached outward with the other.
Jenn accepted the tiny hand and in doing so, she sensed a comfortable connection to this family—a connection she suspected would be incredibly hard to break.
