My Monthly Book Review - The Viscount's Unconventional Lady by Virginia Heath...

The Viscount's Unconventional Lady is the first book I have read by Virginia Heath and I absolutely loved it! This historical romance has it all - from fantastic humour to a wonderful cast of characters to a believable, well-written love story.

Living with her family in Bloomsbury, the heroine Faith Brookes is the daughter of a famed portrait artist father and a operactic star mother. Along with her two sisters, Faith is encouraged in her own dreams of becoming a successful artist and to speak her mind. Something that often happens once she meets the brooding and clearly unhappy Lord Eastwood. A diplomat during the Napoleonic wars and newly-divorced, Eastwood is the talk of the town.

The chemistry between Faith and Lord Eastwood is second-to-none and I loved every page of this book, finishing it quickly and with complete satisfaction. I cannot wait for the second book in the series coming later this year!

A well deserved 5 stars

The Viscount’s Unconventional Lady

The notorious Viscount And the most gossiped-about lady…

After years as a diplomat in the Napoleonic wars, Lord Eastwood is reluctant to return to London society. His scandalous divorce has made him infamous, not to mention cantankerous! To halt the rumour mill, he should marry a quiet noblewoman – instead it’s bold, vibrant artist, Faith Brookes, who’s caught his attention. They are the least suitable match, so why is he like a moth to a flame…?

Author Bio – When Virginia Heath was a little girl it took her ages to fall asleep, so she made up stories in her head to help pass the time while she was staring at the ceiling. As she got older, the stories became more complicated, sometimes taking weeks to get to the happy ending. Then one day, she decided to embrace the insomnia and start writing them down. Despite that, it still takes her forever to fall asleep.
