MY REVIEW:
The first thing that pulled me into this book was the wonderful descriptions of Capri. The author has taken such time and care over conveying the atmosphere, heat and beauty of this tiny Italian island that I felt I was there...and have now added it to my travel bucket list!
The second was the spirit and tenacity of the heroine, Giovanna who is on a quest to find herself and pursue her true passion...gelato. A truly inspiring character fighting for her dreams, honesty and self fulfilment in a world where the people and situations around her defy her every positive step forward.
The book skips along at a wonderful pace and is a great summer read - taking place in Italy and Bath, England, it's a delight in every way.
The Ice Cream Parlour is filled with laughter, intrigue, family relationships, romantic relationships and ice cream. What's not to like? Recommended :)

Isabella May lives in (mostly) sunny
