This is the first book in Fay Keenan's series set in the village of Little Somerby and is perfect summer reading.
Widowed Anna moves, with her daughter, back to her home village of Little Somerby to try to start her life afresh by moving into a small cottage and running the local tea shop. All too soon she is reunited with Matthew Carter whom she met many years before while taking a group to tour the local cider brewery where Matthew worked and now runs.
This is a beautifully written and entertaining contemporary romance with heart-pulling moments, laughter and a whole cast of intriguing characters, each one as well-rounded as the next. If you want a book that provides love, romance, kids, family and a vivid picture of village life, this is the book for you.
I loved it...oh, and look out for the rugby scene. My absolute favourite in the book!
