My Monthly Book Review...

This month's review is for Meet Me At Wisteria Cottage by Teresa F. Morgan

This is a light, yet engaging, romance set in beautiful Cornwall and the author really brings the setting alive with a soft, undercurrent of wistfulness through every page.

The story opens with the heroine suffering a house fire and having to take up her neighbour's offer of a place to stay. As things hadn't exactly been amicable between the two of them before the fire, there is hesitation over the arrangement for both Maddy and Harry but, slowly, the two of them learn more about each other and soon attraction simmers just below the surface.

It's hard not to enjoy a romance where the heroine is an artist and the hero, a firefighter - Maddy and Harry had depth, charisma and intrigue in their backgrounds which added a nice, page turning quality to the story.

I look forward to reading Teresa's next book...
