Hi, Tilly and welcome! I am looking forward to finding out more about you and your books - wishing you lots of sales and success with your tour and latest release :D Let's kick off with my questions...
1.
What do you wish men understood about women?
That we’d quite like to get our hands on the TV remote from time
to time too.
2.
Do you only work on one book at a time?
I always
work on one book at a time. I’m usually so immersed in that world that I spend
my waking hours constantly thinking about it and its characters. I find it hard
to make room for real people and real life during the first draft of a book,
let alone another fictional world!
3.
Who is your favorite fictional couple?
This is a great question but so hard to answer because there are
so many wonderful couples! I recently read Odd
Thomas by Dean Koontz and fell in love with Odd and Stormy. I adore Westley
and Buttercup from The Princess Bride
and in film I also just love Celine and Robert from A Life Less Ordinary. I could probably name loads of others too
after a bit of thought but I don’t think I could actually give you a favourite.
4.
Do you have a favorite quote that sums up how you feel about
life?
It’s
not very literary but I think Ronan Keating said it best when he said Life is a
rollercoaster, you just got to ride it!
5.
Do you set daily writing goals? Word count? Number of
chapters? Do you get a chance to write every day?
I
try very hard to write every day. I find that I have to make it a routine,
otherwise I would sit watching TV and making cakes instead and generally lose
my focus. I try to set word count
goals but I don’t worry too much about them as long as my monthly writing
schedule works out in the end.
6. What do
you like better, Twitter or Facebook? Why?
I like Facebook for the
more in-depth interactions you can have on there but I like the feeling of
instant exchanges you can have on twitter.
7.
What are you working on now?
I’m working on a follow up to my Christmas novella, Mishaps and Mistletoe. So many people have told me they want
to know what happens to Phoebe after the story ends that I thought I’d better
sort it out! I’m hoping that it
will be ready for Easter time.

ABOUT TILLY TENNANT
Tilly Tennant was born
in Dorset, the oldest of four children, but now lives in Staffordshire with a
family of her own. After years of dismal and disastrous jobs, including paper
plate stacking, shop girl, newspaper promotions and waitressing (she never
could carry a bowl of soup without spilling a bit), she decided to indulge her
passion for the written word by embarking on a degree in English and creative
writing, graduating in 2009 with first class honours. She wrote her first novel
in 2007 during her first summer break at university and has not stopped writing
since. She also works as a freelance fiction editor, and considers herself very
lucky that this enables her to read many wonderful books before the rest of the
world gets them.
