Welcome Entangled author, Noelle Adams...

Hi Noelle! Nice to meet you and have you visit my blog - Wishing you all the best with your ongoing tour :)

1.    What do you wish men understood about women?

We are just as human as they are. (Women need to understand that about men too, by the way!)

2.    Do you only work on one book at a time?

No, I usually have a few going at different stages at any given time, but I only work through a stage of one book at once. For instance, when I’m writing the first draft of a book, I don’t work on anything else until it’s done. But then I’ll move on to revise another book before I revise the book I just drafted. Then I might polish up another book before I get back to the first book.

3.    Who is your favorite fictional couple?

Oh, that’s such a hard question. Maybe Anne and Captain Wentworth in Persuasion. I’m also crazy about Dianora and Brandin in Guy Gavriel Kay’s Tigana (although they’re such a hard couple to root for).

4.    Do you have a favorite quote that sums up how you feel about life?

“Of making many books there is no end…” (Ecclesiastes 12:12b)

5.    Do you set daily writing goals? Word count? Number of chapters? Do you get a chance to write every day?

I work full-time, so I don’t have time to write every day. I usually set myself a goal for the week, and then I take as many days as necessary to complete it. The goal is usually in chapters (i.e., I’m going to write four chapters this week or I’m going to revise Chapters 6-12 this week).

6.  What do you like better, Twitter or Facebook? Why?

I like Facebook much better. I’ve never gotten the hang of Twitter, and I’m incredibly introverted – so it’s really hard for me to jump into conversations with people I don’t know. With Facebook, it feels more like I’m just putting things out there and it’s no big deal if people don’t engage with it (although usually they’re kind and do).

7.    What are you working on now?

I’m working on the third Heirs of Damon book, and I’m putting the last touches on my Christmas book.

8.    Tell us about your latest release and where we can find it.

Seducing the Enemy has a Romeo and Juliet type set-up, in which a couple meet and fall for each other when their families hate each other. It has a lot of romance and conflict and humor.

Seducing the Enemy

BLURB:

After being injured in a tragic accident as a child, Marietta Edwards has lived a sheltered life. Finally recovered, she wants to indulge in pleasures entirely new to her, beginning with seducing a sexy stranger. It’s her bad luck when she realizes that the man who awakened her body and emotions is none other than Harrison Damon. Their families have been embroiled in a fifteen-year legal battle. The man she’s given herself to is her worst enemy.

The heir to a vast fortune, Harrison believes the unforgettable night he spent with Marietta is just a fling. Then he discovers she’s an Edwards—a woman born of the family he despises most. He shouldn’t see her again, but no matter how he tries, he can’t quench his attraction for her. He doesn’t know what her game is, and he won’t let her seduce him again.

Can two people destined to be enemies find love with each other?

EXCERPT

He couldn’t take her in the back hallway of a nightclub, no matter how tempted he was.

He forced himself to release her and step back, still bracing himself with one hand on the wall.

Her cheeks were deep pink, her hair messy, and her lips swollen. She was the sexiest thing he’d ever seen. “Wow,” she said. “Wow.”

“I agree.”

“Did you want to…” She ducked her head to hide an inexplicably shy expression.

“I hope you were going to ask whether I wanted to continue this elsewhere. Because the answer is definitely yes.”

She raised her eyes, and excitement flickered through her lingering heat. “Really? You don’t have to go back to work?”

He smiled, privately cursing the damned inspection report he still needed to write. He was never late. His responsibilities as a Damon were always his priority.

“Work can wait.” He couldn’t miss out spending the night with this beautiful, passionate woman. The report wasn’t urgent, and he could get up early tomorrow to prepare for the settlement meeting.

She looked surprised when he suggested they go to his hotel, so he wondered if she’d thought he was a local.

It was nice that she had no idea who he was.

While she texted her friend, he ducked back into the main room to grab his tablet and tell the floor manager to release his table.

“By the way, I’m Etta,” she said as they waited for his car.

“Harri—” he began, then cut himself off. She might not recognize his face—not everyone did—but she could easily recognize his name. And that might change things.

“You don’t really look like a Harry, but I like it.”

He’d always hated being called “Harry.” In fact, schoolmates had only used that name when they wanted to annoy him. After hearing Etta say his name with that particular lilt, however, he decided it wasn’t so bad.

She beamed with an overflow of warm excitement.

“What did I do to deserve that smile?”

She flushed and glanced down. “Am I too excited?”

He almost choked. “Too excited? Who the hell told you that was even possible?”

“I don’t know. It’s just that the world seems to think being cool is the way to go, and I can never pull it off.”

He realized that was one of the reasons why she seemed so different, why she seemed so real. There was no pretense about her, and it thrilled him. “Cool is overrated.”

She peered up at him curiously. “You seem to pull it off very well.”

 “Maybe I’m overrated.”

“That remains to be seen.”
